Hi, I’m Alison, also known as BarbiePT, also known as mum & wife💖

You can call me Ali or Barbie!

I genuinely love the gym, working out, lifting weights, and keeping my fitness a priority in life. After decades of experiencing significant physical limitations with my own health and overcoming these, I’m passionate about others not being defined by a health diagnosis, long-term chronic condition, or their circumstances.

​

I’m excited to help you achieve what you feel might not be possible or have only dreamt of in terms of physical movement & exercise. I would love to help & support you to see how accessible exercise is & how life-transforming a fitness routine can be. I understand from personal experience how daunting, intimidating & sometimes boring the gym can be, but I promise it's never too late!

I take a holistic approach to training where we will look at many lifestyle factors, identify important and achievable goals, and have fun together supporting you in reaching them! I care about what’s important to you, what your priorities are & helping you to progress. If the gym is not for you I offer home visits or outdoor training, we can make anything work to accommodate your needs.

Small Group Personal Training

I strive to support your training, enhance your performance, optimize your health, and make exercise accessible to you in any way possible. Small group training is a fantastic option for those who may feel nervous at the thought of training 1:1; this facilitates training with friends or family members for those who wish to and creates an opportunity to socialize whilst exercising.

Online Coaching

In today's fast-paced world, where time is often limited due to busy schedules, family responsibilities, and other commitments, online coaching offers a convenient and flexible solution. I empower individuals to work out from the comfort of their own home—whether that's in the living room, garden, or any space that suits them. Online coaching makes fitness routines accessible, ensuring that even those with the tightest schedules can prioritize their health and achieve their goals without the need to commute or spend hours at the gym.
